Junior Buyer

Sterling Recruitment are delighted to be working with our industry leading client who are looking to add a Junior Buyer to their team,

The role will consist of working office hours Monday to Thursday with a early finish Friday.
- An understanding of supply chain management.
- Excellent attention to detail and high standards for quality.
- Building relationships with suppliers and negotiating with them for the best price, quantities and delivery timescales.
- Visiting suppliers to carry out vendor assessment and audit.
- Processing requisitions and updating order originators on the status of orders.
- Coordinating with material controllers.
- Monitoring stock levels and escalating any discrepancies or rejections to suppliers.
- Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft office.
- Financial and accounting knowledge.
- Supporting the wider team / business where appropriate.

CIPS would be advantageous however not essential as support will be on offer to achieve this
