The Recruitment Co are looking for machine operators, or those with potential to learn, to join a busy fruit factory in the Hawthorn Bank area of Spalding.
You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment ensuring that machinery is set up to allow efficient and safe production. Checking accuracy and effectiveness of packs made.
Carrying out basic essential maintenance and documenting any faults.
You will also assist the Line Leader in supervising production on the line to ensure it is carried out in the most efficient way, meeting quality and time scale objectives.
**No previous experience necessary but you must have**:

- Good attention to detail
- Good numeracy skills
- Fast paced and methodical
- Committed to hit targets
- Speak and understand the English language

**Responsibilities**
- Correctly set up machines, and ensure they run efficiently
- Undertake preventative maintenance and cleaning of the machinery
- Report any faults with machinery
- Assist the Line Leader in the smooth running of the line
- Follow and enforce health and safety and hygiene standards, food safety and quality policies, and coronavirus procedures

**Shift as a Machine Operator**:
This is a full-time position rotating weekly between morning and afternoon shift, with a Friday off one week and the weekend off the following week.
Morning shift: 5.30am - 14:30pm
Afternoon shift: 14:30pm - finish (varies from approximately 24:00pm - 3am)
**Pay rate as a Machine Operator**:
Whilst in Training: £9.93 per hour and £14.90 per hour overtime after 40 hrs per week (32 hrs pm shift per week) & £19.86 on a Sunday

When Fully Trained: £10.43 per hour and £15.65 per hour overtime after 40 hrs per week (32 hrs pm shift per week) & £20.86 on a Sunday
