Outwood Grange Academy is looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and inspiring classroom practitioner with a real passion for science. We offer an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and motivated team and you must possess the skills and determination to make a significant difference to the lives of our students and share our single goal of ‘students first’. Applications are invited from both newly qualified and experienced professionals.

The department delivers courses across all Key Stages 3-5, where we have a thriving post 16 provision delivering all science A Levels and Applied Science Btec Level 3. To do this we have 18 specialist teachers, 4 science technicians and 3 one-to-one science tutors. The department is a combination of experienced staff and more recent entrants to the profession. Teaching takes place in the department’s 15 labs, 1 ICT suite and 2 classrooms. Every lab and classroom has a visualiser and these are used extensively by the team. All classrooms also have interactive whiteboards.
