Birtsmorton Court is a privately owned, moated country house and wedding venue set in a countryside location between Tewkesbury, Ledbury and Malvern. We hold around 70 weddings each year and have holiday rental accommodation on site too. It’s a great time to join Birtsmorton Court as we have exciting plans for the future.
We have a unique position available for the right person to join us as a Wedding Co-Ordinator to work alongside our experienced team. As a Wedding Co-Ordinator at Birtsmoton Court you will work alongside couples from their initial enquiry right through to hosting the day itself. It’s a pinnacle role to ensure that couples have the wedding of their dreams.
Ideally you will have experience in weddings or events, but a customer focused sales or administrative role would be considered too. There is a starting salary of £24,000 with OTE of £30,000. You will be given full training to ensure you have every possibility of reaching the targets set for you.
Responsibilities include
- Responding to enquiries, answering phone calls and arranging viewings.
- Meeting couples during their first visit to the venue, converting their interest in to a booking.
- Corresponding with couples throughout the planning of their wedding, holding meetings and supplier visits.
- Building and establishing trust from couples and working with them to ensure the vision for theri wedding is realised.
- Maintaining databases, keeping notes and plans updated and compiling invoices.
- Hosting and running wedding days in accordance with a couple’s plans until the evening event begins.
- Assisting with the running of the holiday rental business which runs outside of wedding season, ensuring accommodation is ready, checking guests in and trouble shooting during their stay.
- Have experience of working in weddings or events (desirable).
- Have a degree in Event Management or a qualification in hospitality (desirable).
- Be really eager to develop their career in the wedding industry.
- Have an excellent eye for detail with strong administration and organisation skills.
- Be a team player with a can-do attitude.
- Be a confident and outgoing person.
- Be emotionally intelligent and find it easy to build relationships with both colleagues and couples.
- Be motivated by targets.
- Want to create a perfect wedding day for the couples that they work with.
This is a full-time role, working Tuesday - Saturday, 9am - 5.30pm.
Due to the nature of the role, a degree of flexibility is required, however working on a Sunday and during the evening is generally not required. It’s also important to mention that the venue is in a rural location so your own transport is essential
