The Hound Ville - A thriving dog grooming spa operated in three different locations offering everything from Luxury spa treatments through to Muddy dog standard bath & blwodrys. Spa treatments are also a huge part of The Hound Ville, we create and add our own spa treatments as part of you're dogs experience.

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dog Groomer to join our team. As a Dog Groomer, you will be responsible for providing professional grooming services to our clients in our brand new grooming salon. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about animals and have experience in pet grooming to join our team.

Applicants must have qualifications within grooming and have experience within this role, It is a must to be good with customers and kind, compassionate and patient with dogs.

**Duties**:

- Perform grooming services to a high standard such as bathing, brushing, haircuts, and nail trims
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the pets during the grooming process
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the grooming area
- Communicate with dig owners to understand their specific grooming requests
- Provide excellent customer service and address any concerns or questions from pet owners
- Monitor the health and behavior of pets during grooming sessions
- Handle dog with care and compassion, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process
- Groom minimum off 4 dogs per day to a high standard

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a Dog Groomer
- Knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming requirements
- Strong understanding of animal behaviour and handling techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners
- Certification or training in pet grooming is required
- **MUST HAVE**_
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of grooming.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract, Apprenticeship
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: £10.00-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
