Corkage is an award winning, independent Restaurant, Wine Bar and Bottle Shop in the centre of beautiful Georgian Bath.

We serve an ever-changing menu of innovative small plates; the food is freshly cooked using the best locally sourced produce, and our wine list is second to none with over 100 wines from all over the world. All of our wines are handpicked, and we are constantly tasting to source the best examples available to us.

The Role & Core Responsibilities:
We are looking for a hard working and professional individual to fill a part time front of house role & supplement our full time team, providing casual but high quality, friendly and knowledgeable service.

The role will encompass all aspects of service including wine recommendations and service, upselling unique and rare wines, and introducing the wonderful food our kitchen produces to our guests.

Some restaurant service experience is essential, a genuine interest and basic knowledge in wine will also be a great advantage and an ability to work in a fast paced & busy environment is a must.

About You:
You will be someone with a great personality and a professional attitude to work, as well as having excellent customer service skills and a willingness to learn. Your passion and energy will shine through every shift.

This is a permanent but part time position, offering between 2-4 shifts per week on average. You will need to be available to work weekends, shifts will include Friday evenings and Saturdays (evenings or double shifts) as well as some evening shifts mid-week, so flexibility is important - you will be expected to be available for these on a weekly basis unless on annual leave, by prior arrangement.

Please note this is not a term time position and we would expect any student applicants to be available all year round, particularly during busy periods.

Start date mid-late February.

10-20 hours per week, on average, based on 2-4 days per week - extra hours available where cover required. £13+ per hour - inclusive of £9-£11 per hour based on age and/or experience plus tips package in the range of £3-£6 per hour.
