Exciting opportunity for a HR Advisor working for a long-established and successful company in the manufacturing sector, based in Beverley.

You will be responsible for providing HR support to all employees including advising managers, looking after the employee lifecycle and recruitment as well as maintaining employee records and database. No two days will be the same as you work with a wide variety of people and contribute to projects and people activities.

You will ideally have previous experience working within a HR advisory role, with a Level 5 CIPD qualification or relevant comparable experience/qualifications. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a drive for success and a passion for all things HR.

You can expect a competitive salary of £30,000 - £36,000 and excellent benefits such as private health care scheme, ongoing training and development opportunities and discretionary annual bonus.

As a HR Advisor you will:

- Act as a key point of contact for all employees and management
- Get involved in exciting project work including wellbeing initiatives, succession planning and learning & development
- Manage the recruitment and onboarding process from ensuring accurate job descriptions, advertising the role, interviewing & onboarding
- Ensure that contracts of employment are issued and updated in a timely manner
- Liaise effectively with payroll for setting up new employees, changes to remuneration and leavers
- Manage of the electronic employee database, including reporting monthly on key employee metrics and maintaining employee records complying with GDPR requirements
- To advise and support managers with grievances, disciplinary actions, absence management and performance management cases on site.
- Provide advice and support to employees
- Ensure that Company Employee Policies and Employee Handbook are maintained and updated utilising external HR support
- Receive external support and advice for more complex and challenging issues, both ad hoc and through formal mentoring
