Junior Itc Technician

Futures Recruitment Services are seeking an enthusiastic, well-motivated and suitably qualified individual with a keen interest in ICT desktop, network, and user support, e-safety, and the use of ICT in education, to maintain our network and support ourstaff and students with all ICT hardware and software requirements across our centres. Based at our Head Office in Burgess Hill, you will travel as required to our other centres providing high-quality effective reactive and preventative ICT support for staff,students and other stakeholders across all of our provisions.

**Working Hours: Mon - Fri, 8.30 am - 4.30 pm (Term time only)**
**The key duties of the Senior ICT Technician**:

- Provide first-line ICT support across all our centres and provisions.
- Support in the setup and distribution of ICT hardware and software.
- Support in the set up new users and training staff members.
- Supporting in ensuring ICT hardware and software across the school is maintained to a satisfactory standard.
- Support the ICT Help Desk Technician, Network Technician and Network Manager and work with contractors as required.
- Deliver a quality service in a school where high standards are set and expected.

**Desired experience and skills for the Senior ICT Technician**:

- Relevant degree and/or proven experience with a minimum of Maths and English GCSE or equivalent, demonstrating the appropriate level of knowledge.
- Experience in administration of ICT software and hardware, particularly Microsoft Windows networks, Office 365, iOS/iPadOS.
- Experience in a similar working environment.
- A patient and flexible attitude.
- A well-organised approach to your work.
- The ability to communicate effectively to a range of people including staff, students, and other stakeholders.
- Attention to detail, a keen eye for accuracy, and an ability to see the bigger picture.
- The ability to work in a team and under your own initiative.
- A current UK driving license and the ability to travel regularly between our centres, transporting ICT equipment as and when required.
