Job Title: General Porter

**Job Description**:
As a General Porter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and seamless execution of on-site logistics and support services. Your primary responsibilities will include transporting clients' goods, loading and unloading vehicles, using equipment to navigate the site, working collaboratively within a team, and independently managing tasks. A keen attention to detail is essential, particularly when it comes to reading site floor plans and executing the assembly, setup, and dismantling of various stands, including structures, furniture, props, lighting, and sound equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
Goods Transportation:

- Safely transport clients' goods from point A to point B on-site, using appropriate equipment and ensuring the integrity of the items.

Vehicle Loading/Unloading:

- Efficiently load and unload vehicles with precision, taking care to handle items carefully to prevent damage.

Equipment Operation:

- Utilize equipment such as dollies, hand trucks, or forklifts to maneuver goods and equipment around the site, ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Team Collaboration:

- Work cohesively within a team to accomplish tasks efficiently, demonstrating effective communication and cooperation.

Independent Work:

- Demonstrate the ability to work independently, taking initiative to complete assigned tasks and contributing to the overall success of on-site operations.

Site Floor Plan Understanding:

- Read and interpret site floor plans to determine the optimal placement and setup of stands, ensuring adherence to client specifications.

Attention to Detail:

- Maintain a keen attention to detail when handling and arranging items, ensuring accuracy in setup and placement of stands, furniture, props, and equipment.

Stand Assembly and Dismantling:

- Build, set up, and take down stands, including structures, furniture, props, lighting, and sound equipment, following guidelines and specifications provided.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not essential
- Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts and hand trucks preferred but not essential
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficient in reading and understanding site floor plans.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on precision and quality.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects.
- Flexibility to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
