Our client is recruiting an experienced Commercial Planner, to join a busy team enivronment. Ideal candiate will have worked within planning and scheduling of a production line preferably within a food, pharma or medical environment.
**Duties;**
To oversee specific commercial planning, including new and existing supplier relationships.
To develop the production schedule in line with the equipment and labour capacity to meet the customer requirements and focus on processing customer and supplier orders.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Develop the production schedule
2. Plan raw material and packaging in line with the production plan.
3. Liaise with commercial / sales team to determine customer requirements.
4. Liaise with customers and suppliers to ensure all POs are fulfilled on time and in full.
5. Develop current and new supplier relationships.
6. Approve suppliers/materials (with Quality), costs, minimum order quantities and terms.
7. Liaise with internal departments to ensure required headcount, materials, and machinery will be available when required.
8. Monitor New Product Introduction projects (NPI’s) to ensure they are following the schedule and will meet the required timelines.
9. Organise project paperwork, including purchase orders and other records.
10. Manage inbound and outbound logistics.
11. Monitor production and raw material costs.
12. Prepare reports about production processes for management and suggest ways to improve efficiency.
13. Manage the stock holding in line with agreed targets.
14. Perform any other duties as reasonably required by the site Senior Management Team.

Hours 37.5 per week
(Monday Thursday 08:30-17:00 Friday 08:00-13:30)
