Van Driver

David Lowrie Fish Merchants is a reputable and long-established seafood company dedicated to providing the highest quality fish and seafood products. We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Van Driver to join our team and assist with collections in the Aberdeen area.

**Responsibilities**:

- Safely operate a company van to collect fish and seafood products from various suppliers in the Aberdeen area.
- Ensure timely and efficient collection of goods according to the schedule.
- Handle and transport products with care to maintain quality and freshness.
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to the transportation of seafood products.
- Maintain accurate records of collections and deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and the team to coordinate collection times and locations.
- Conduct routine checks and maintenance of the van to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Clean the vehicle daily to maintain hygiene standards.
- Assist with loading and unloading of products as required.

**Requirements**:

- Valid UK driving license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a van driver, preferably in a similar industry.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy loads.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week
