Shop Supervisor

Currently, we are collaborating with our esteemed client, Risham Chaudhary Ltd, a prestigious retail store known for offering a range of high-quality products. They are actively seeking a dedicated Shop Supervisor to effectively and efficiently manage the store and deliver exceptional customer service.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervision and Coordination: Directly supervise and provide guidance to the sales team, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles. Coordinate and delegate tasks effectively to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service.
- Work Schedule Management: Establish and monitor work schedules for sales staff, taking into account sales and productivity targets. Efficiently manage staff shifts and breaks to optimize coverage and ensure the shop operates efficiently.
- Collaborate with Managers and Departments: Liaise with other department heads and managers to resolve operational issues and foster a collaborative working environment. Work collectively to improve processes and enhance the overall customer experience.
- Staffing and Resource Planning: Assess staffing needs based on business demands and recommend appropriate hiring or training initiatives. Ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained to meet sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Reporting and Performance Tracking: Regularly report on departmental activities, sales performance, and progress towards targets to managerial staff. Utilize data to identify areas of improvement and implement effective strategies to achieve sales objectives.

**Requirements**:

- Proven two years’ experience as a supervisor or similar role in a retail or sales environment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various teams and departments.
- Familiarity with sales techniques and customer service principles.
- Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude.

**Salary**: £26,200.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Motherwell, ML1 1LY: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
