Secret Keeper

The Secret Keepers will be responsible for creating the playful atmosphere of Lilidorei They will be the drivers of the fun, activities, and safety practices that happen every day at the attraction. From puppets, to bubbles, to ribbon dancing, they will be the imaginative and fun-loving team that engages our guests in play.

Note: Position does not begin until mid-March - early April

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- The number one responsibility of the Secret Keepers will be helping our visitors have fun by engaging them in a wide range of playful activities and inspiring their imagination.
- Adapt to new and ever-changing play responsibilities. New activities will be introduced on a regular basis, it is the job of the Secret Keepers to find the fun in each and help others to find it as well
- Recognise and take proper actions to circumvent potential safety hazards.
- Personal responsibility. Many of the activities will be self-motivated. It will be a responsibility of the Keepers to set up any props or tools for any given activity, engage visitors, and retrieve, clean up after, and properly store any props or tools when finished.
- Capable of being outdoors for sustained periods of time. Lilidorei is a completely outside attraction and will be open and operating rain or shine.
- Not a requirement, but a plus: Ability to navigate and climb into play structure. There will be roles available for Secret Keepers to monitor and assist children who may need help while playing on the play structure.
- Perform any other duties as requested by the Head of Play or other member of the management team.
- Possibility of handling cash.

The successful applicant will have
- An outgoing, charismatic, and friendly personality
- A team mentality, willing and enthusiastic to collaborate and work with others to help deliver an outstanding experience to our visitors.
- Ability to maintain a good level of personal hygiene.
- Ability to be kindly authoritative, as the role will be interacting with and, in many cases, guiding groups of children in activities.
- A passion for creative expression and storytelling.
- Not required, but a great plus: Any form of Creative skills such as musical instrument ability, juggling, drawing or sketching abilities, dance experience, etc.
- Ability to problem solve and find creative solutions for to potentially complex issues.
- Ability to identify problems or potential issues and provide constructive feedback and solutions.
- Weekend and school holiday availability is essential, as these will be the busy times for Lilidorei.
- Ability to work safely in the parameters of the provided risk assessments.
