**Salary**: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum

We are currently recruiting for the UK’s largest independent manufacturer of private label cupcakes, in recent years they have experienced sustained growth and are looking to expand further.

In this role you will be responsible for sourcing raw materials, you will work closely with existing suppliers to determine which raw materials will be used in production as well as negotiating costs and sourcing new suppliers.

**Job Responsibilities will include;**
- Negotiating prices with suppliers, reviewing product samples and approving supplier bids
- Ordering raw materials as needed to maintain adequate inventory level
- Coordinating with production managers to schedule deliveries of raw materials to meet production schedules
- Developing strategies to source raw materials that are cost-effective while maintaining product quality and safety standards
- Coordinating with shipping companies to schedule deliveries of raw materials
- Reviewing market trends to keep up with changing consumer preferences and fashion trend
- Educated to degree level or CIPS qualification
- Previous experience working in the food industry is preferred
- Strong Microsoft skills
- Good time management and communication skills is key
