Traffic Planner

We are looking for a traffic planner & freight forwarder to join our small team, no experience required as full training can be given
- The Role:

- liaising with customers and hauliers, tracking deliveries & collections and overseeing shipments through to final delivery.
- Planning a fleet of vehicles, dealing with issues that arise from rejections to maintenance issues
- Proactively looking to continuously grow the business contacts, from customers to hauliers
- We pride ourselves on excellent customer service, encouraging customer confidence and loyalty, this must be mirrored at all times
- Maintain supplier and customer relations with a positive friendly & confident approach
- Good knowledge of UK road networks, haulage pricing and EU regulations are preferred but not essential as this can be taught
- Able to communicate efficiently with all levels, have a passion for customer service, or even have a social outlook
- Able to multi-task, prioritise and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- IT literate, from Microsoft packages to bespoke systems (training can be provided)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £26,000.00 per year
