Time spent visiting a Retail outlet at a National Trust property is a key part of any visit. It's an experience which not only allows us to enhance time spent on a day out and deepen visitor engagement with our cause, but also supports in the generation of funds to put back into our vital conservation work. What you'll be doing:We have an opportunity for someone to join the national Commercial team as maternity cover for our Retail Trainer. In this role you'll be responsible for increasing confidence and capability in National Trust Retail Teams through the creation and delivery of an 'on the job' and in classroom Retail Training programme. You'll work in partnership with the national Retail team and Retail Area Managers to develop and implement an engaging training programme covering sales practices, the mitigation of risk, visual merchandising, service and brand standards. You'll follow the full training cycle, analysing training needs, planning, delivery, monitoring and evaluating. You'll champion the Trust Retail Strategy by developing the necessary skills across the organisation, empowering our teams to deliver great Retail experiences to National Trust visitors.
