**We have an exciting opportunity for a ‘Strategic Innovation Lead for Carer Support Services’ to join us**

The ‘Strategic Innovation Lead - Carer Support Services’ role is a new and exciting position that will lead on developing an innovative, strengths-based and co-produced Carers Offer in the Borough.

You will play a leading role in exploring new approaches, collaborating with a wide variety of stakeholders, and learning from best practices to enhance support for carers and their families.

This is a 24-month fixed term role, with hybrid working, and a salary of £36,433- £40,401per annum based on experience.

**About the role**:

- You will lead on the development of our Carers Offer in the Borough. Closely collaborating with health and social care teams, VCS and local Business partners, Assistive Technology suppliers and peer groups.
- You will trial, measure and review co-produced and innovative initiatives, pathway redesigns and information-sharing to bolster the accessibility, assessments and support available for carers: with a clear commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
- You will play a leading role in the governance and reporting of this work. Acting as a driving force in the East Berkshire Consortium, tracking performance and reporting to national funders. You will manage stakeholder and governance arrangements and be active in exploring new funding opportunities.

**About you**:

- You will need to be an effective communicator, able to operate on your initiative and be influential working across a range of contexts and with diverse stakeholders. Experience in project management, outcomes tracking, and developing strategies in multi-agency contexts will be highly desirable.
- You will have a strong awareness of strength-based personalised care, of the role and responsibilities of health and social care teams and the legislative duties in respect to Carers.
