**TIG Welder / Fabricator**

£13 - £16 per hour with pay reviews once company coding is complete

Proactive are currently recruiting a TIG Welder/Fabricator for a manufacturing company who operate in the Defence, Nuclear, Oil, Gas and Scientific industry.

**Your daily duties will include**:

- To carry out production coded welding (TIG/MIG) operations following standard operating procedures as directed by the Manager or with others who have an input into the job.
- To manufacture, or assist in the manufacture of, any tooling necessary to produce components.
- To be totally responsible for the quality of own work. Focus on achieving Zero defect, right first-time approach.
- To carry out routine and minor maintenance including good housekeeping within the assembly/welding department.
- To inform the Manager of any special tools or tooling needed to produce components as early as possible, so s delays.
- Assist other sections as required.
- To take necessary training (internally or externally) as required to perform necessary work.
- To be continually improving efficiency through productivity and reducing costs and suggest these to the Manager.
- To report machine or equipment faults/improvements to the Manager
- Maintain a positive, pro-active, and flexible attitude
- To carry out any other tasks as reasonably requested and be willing to train others to the best of your ability.
