**Change and Release Manager - London - 12 month contract**

**Experienced Change and Release Manager**to join **a multinational IT company** based in **London** on an 12**-month contract**.

**_About the role: _**
- Maintain a Maintenance Backlog of work in Jira to reflect the forward schedule of work
- Actively manage the open sprint in Jira and contribute to the sprint progress and reporting
- Work with the System Leads and Operations Manager to plan effective sprints, communicate with the team and take part in sprint retrospectives as required
- Attend, and sometimes run, the daily stand-up meeting
- Ensure the relevant Service Manager changes are raised, approved by stakeholders and appropriately tasked to the team
- Ensure activities in non-LIVE environments are sufficiently supported by Jira stories and sub-tasks
- Attend weekly customer meetings to capture new requirements
- Assist with the management and approval of changes and services requests in SM9
- Ensure all changes to services and associated environments are progressed in accordance with the change control process and raise associated tasking

**_Skills_**
- Able to react quickly to re-prioritisation of workload and short notice change requests
- Proactive, organised and methodical approach
- Ability to provide clear and concise updates to senior stakeholders
- Ability to articulate technical issues and user impact would be beneficial
- Good people skills to engage with other customer service teams where dependencies exist
- Willing to challenge the processes adopted if they identify efficiency benefits
- Meticulous planning and attention to detail
