Our multi-disciplined teams include: DevOps engineers, IT architects, front and back end developers, infrastructure specialists, cyber experts, as well as project and programme managers.

We work in small, agile DevOps teams with colleagues around the world from our offices at the Bluefin Building in Southwark, our global headquarters in Canary Wharf, and multiple other locations around the UK including Sheffield, Leeds, Barnsley and Birmingham.

Following extensive investment across our Technology and Digital domains and with plans for continued expansion throughout 20nn and beyond, we are currently seeking a ServiceNow Administrator to join HSBC Technology.

Role and Responsibilities
- Possess advanced knowledge of the core ServiceNow Platform
- Is a key member of ServiceNow project teams to achieve roadmap goals
- Is aware of projects in progress, in pipeline and the team members involved.

Day to day support to the stability of the platform

Support version upgrades

Monitor and maintain overall health / performance of the Production instance

Know the organizations ServiceNow roadmap

Oversees instance security - Access Control, Delegated development

Incident management - Timely Resolution or transfer Incidents

Release Management - Promotion of the code to Production

Root cause analysis - Resolve assigned Problem task

Do minor enhancements such as form or workflow editing

Requirements
- Must have good exposure to Agile Scrum practices and methodology, Solid knowledge of ITIL and IT support processes in general
- ServiceNow certification (CSA, CIS)
- Strong Core Java development experience
- Knowledge of Service management techniques including incident, problem, change, release management
- Demonstrated experience designing and developing process-based solutions
- Demonstrated experience documenting user case processes and ServiceNow workflows
- Ability to transform Business Requirement into Business Process,
- Well versed with class hierarchy, Update set hierarchy, data layer, flows, UI Action /policy, deployment, Integration, SOAP Service implementation in ServiceNow, Integration
- Excellent verbal, active listening, and written communications skills along with demonstrated facilitation skills
- Knowledge of ServiceNow version upgrade, at least executed two version upgrades.
- Knowledge of mid-servers, CMDB, discovery would be desirable.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective and clear communication skills (written, oral and listening), with ability to describe complex technical scenarios in a concise manner depending on the audience.
- Proven ability to work across geographies and time zones with a variety of teams.
- Experience of working in a high-pressure environment, handling critical systems incidents or problems, and dealing with global stakeholders across multiple functions.
- Strong sense of ownership & urgency, ability to prioritize, attention to detail, flexibility, sense of vigilance & adherence to all compliance procedures & policies.
- Ability to motivate & influence people to meet desired project deliverables.
- Strong multi-tasking, multi-roles & time management skills.
