**FLEET AND CHURCH CROOKHAM PARISH - PARISH ADMINISTRATOR**

**PART TIME: 25 HOURS PER WEEK**

**SALARY: £12 per hour**

**About Us**

The Parish of The Holy Trinity and Our Lady, Fleet & Church Crookham is in the Diocese of Portsmouth. The Parish has two churches served by one Priest and a Deacon. The Parish has an Office in Fleet that serves the clergy, parish groups and parishioners.

**The Role**

The Parish needs a full time Secretary to serve the clergy and undertake the Parish Office operation. We are looking for an experienced office worker who is able to work alone in managing a small office. The office functions from 9am to 5pm every week-day but is closed during the lunch period for one hour.

The position involves the following tasks:

- Secretary to both the Parish Priest and one Deacon
- Handle callers to the Parish Office
- Maintain the Parish Diary
- Maintain a rota for the clergy to visit self-isolating parishioners
- Diarise Mass Intentions & manage Foundation Masses
- Preparation & production of the weekly Parish newsletter
- Maintain the Parish database of parishioners
- Maintain Parish Mass Rotas
- Maintain various Parish Registers as Diocesan & Civil Authorised person
- Order Sacristy, Parish & Office materials
- General Filing & Photo Copying
- Maintain the halls Diary
- Gift Aid Referrer
- Prepare invoices for the hall’s hirers, arrange the viewings, preparing contracts
- Supply cleaning stuff for Churches & halls

- Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office including Word, and Excel
- Understanding of Data Protection legislation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the confidence to deal with people at every level.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
