We are currently recruiting for an Ancillary Operative to work in our busy manufacturing site in Merthyr Tydfil.

**This is a full time, permanent position working 6.00am to Finish of job, Monday to Friday. With an hourly rate of between £11.94 up to £19.92 per hour depending on experience.**

Full training is provided.

**Role Purpose**

Working in slaughtering, performing precision functions involving the preparation of meat. Work may include specialized slaughtering tasks, trimming offal to required specs and dressing animals to required spec.

**Role Requirements**
- Cut, trim, skin, sort, and wash viscera of slaughtered animals to separate edible portions from offal.
- Clean materials to prepare them for production.
- Process animal carcasses.
- Eviscerate, and trim carcasses of slaughtered animals.
- Trim, clean, or cure animal hides.
- Skin sections of animals or whole animals.
- Remove offal and prep ready for further processing.
- Prepare meat products for sale or consumption.
- Dress carcasses to correct spec.
- Aitch bone hang carcasses.
- Remove feet, ears and horns.
- Complete general tasks within the abattoir.
