**Architectural Designer**

As a result of an increasing portfolio of projects, we are seeking a Senior Estimator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting in completing construction projects by providing cost estimates.

Procuring competitive projects, cooperating with subcontractors; seeking key information from subcontractors and participating in periodic reviews.

Evaluating bid specifications and drawings, ensuring that the organization or client is fully aware of the necessary tools or information required to successfully bid and acquire a project.

Liaise and follow up with subcontractors in order to ensure that bids are received, while also working with project management teams in order to follow up on bids and budgets to close the business.

Create complete mechanical estimates for large and complex projects.

Set up cost monitoring principles or procedures and reporting systems and procedures to upper management.

Identify and reviewing material and labour requirements in order to determine which is more cost-effective in producing components or purchasing components.

Estimate the time, materials, or equipment that are required to complete a job or project.

Create and maintain correct and accurate quantities and thorough take-offs from plans.

Ensure that the organization or client have the proper coverage from subcontractors on bid day.

Maintain and update correct and accurate records of tenders.

Ensure that estimating procedures are strictly followed in the production of tenders.

**Salary**: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
