2nd week Lates: (2pm - 10:45pm) 20 min Break / Friday shift: 2pm - 7pm (10 min Break)

**THE BUSINESS**:
Westray Recruitment Group are seeking a CNC Machinist to join our client based in Gateshead.

The company in question has been a market leader within their sectors for over 50 years and is looking to add a skilled CNC Machinist to their team.

**THE ROLE**:

- Operating Mazak CNC Machines, Milling
- Producing bespoke one offs (no repetitive work)
- Producing tools for Thermoforming Machines
- Mainly working with Aluminium, some resin materials and 10% steel plate.
- Working from Engineering/Technical drawings

**THE PERSON**:

- Experience in operating Mazatrol CNC Controls & experience running Mazak CNC Machines, Milling.
- Time Served apprenticeship.
- Experience in basic machine programming on Mazatrol (Mazak Machines), although most CAD file are supply, operators are required to program basic files at the machine.
- 4 & 5 Axis CNC machining experience, need a minimum of 5 years’ experience, not straight out of apprenticeship.
- Flexible working attitude required to work across multiple CNC machines.
- Must have ability to get into work for shift start time (6am)
