**Purpose and objectives of the role**

Operate as a key link between stored goods, operations, and warehouse functions. Setting up and monitoring of the POP/SOP process.

This will involve monitoring stored goods levels, movements, locations and a strategic use of space and processes.

**Main duties and responsibilities**
- Completing the required paperwork for incoming/outgoing goods daily
- Updating goods information on the computer system & compile relevant reports daily.
- Carrying out daily reviews of incoming items received against customer’s delivery notes.
- Carrying out daily reviews of outgoing orders to ensure accuracy of shipments and respective goods records.
- Ensure mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies are investigated, addressed, and resolved.
- Investigate and correct discrepancies in reported quantities and locations of all items in storage.
- Help develop the company’s storage management strategy with the aim of reducing losses and obsolete stock, rationalising inventory, and maximizing available space.
- Work with the warehouse management to ensure proper arrangement of stock to allow for optimum efficiency / organisation.
- Perform process and system testing to locate and solve problems in data integrity.
- Be responsible for managing and running planned stock takes.
- Perform cyclic stock checks.
- Minimise and removal of obsolete stock.
- Maintaining records of all incoming/outgoing goods and other relevant information
- Dealing with customer calls & enquiries on a daily basis
- Compile a system to integrate the Vigo warehouse management with the Sage accounts system.
- Setting up and monitoring the POP/SOP functions within Sage accounts system.
- Assist with maintaining and updating company compliance records/certifications in accordance with BS9001 and BRCGS Management Systems
- Assist with regular BRCGS compliance audits.

**Qualifications**
- Warehouse Management System - Vigo
- Accounts System - Sage

**Experience**
- Two years within a Storage/Transport facility preferred.
- Two years of Purchasing experience preferred.

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
