**The Role**

We are looking for a creative, innovative, and passionate individual who will play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of successful marketing and communication campaigns. Guided by NMITE’s Strategic Plans, the postholder will effectively promote NMITE to prospective students, key influencers and other stakeholders.

They will possess a sound understanding of social platforms and how to grow engaged communities on each of them in a business capacity.

**What does the role include?**
- Work closely with the Marketing & Communications Manager to develop and implement comprehensive marketing campaign plans to promote NMITE to its various audiences
- Support the design, development and implementation of content editorial across NMITE’s digital channels - executing impactful and relevant content to support campaign objectives
- Create publications and promotional material, which includes writing design briefs, copywriting and proofing
- Provide campaign insights and metrics to monitor campaign performance and report on return on investment (ROI)
- Contribute to the development of the institution’s brand, principally the “tone of voice”
- Work closely with students and academic & professional service colleagues to produce effective marketing activities
- Work with external agencies and third parties with confidence to deliver campaign activity against various briefs and ensure coordination
- Recruit and work with NMITE students to share the student voice through rich content (blogs & vlogs).
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to bring new ideas and strategies to the team

**Key deliverables**
- Implement and deliver various marketing communication campaigns bringing the NMITE brand to life for multiple audiences
- Develop compelling and engaging content utilising strong copywriting skills to promote the NMITE brand
- Use content creation tools (Adobe, Canva etc) and stay on top of design and content trends
- Contribute to delivering successful Open days, applicant events, external events, and Clearing activity.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Bachelor-level education or equivalent experience - ideally within marketing or communications
- Experience working in marketing with a focus on digital marketing
- Demonstrable experience using the main social media channels in a marketing context
- Experience in content creation with evidence of contributing to concept and campaign development
- Use of a CRM system is desirable

**Skills and Behaviours**
- Analytically inclined with knowledge of scheduling tools and analytics software (e.g. Hootsuite, Google Analytics)
- Excellent IT skills, including knowledge of Word, Excel and cloud-based collaboration platforms (e.g. Microsoft Teams/SharePoint).
- Good project planning and management skills
- Excellent written & oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team, with the agility to support cross-team activity
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Proactive and motivated with a positive attitude
