**CareerMakers** are currently looking for a '**FLT Driver and Yard Worker**' for one of our clients in the **FK2, Falkirk area.**

For over 30 years, our client has led the welfare and plant hire industry with exceptional service and ground-breaking innovations that support different sectors across the UK.

The successful FLT Driver and Yard Worker will be responsible for the safe loading and un-loading of all vehicles within the yard area. They will be working alongside the yard operational teams to support the overall hire process and depot activities as required.

**The role includes**:

- Maintain a safe working environment and assure compliance with all safety rules.
- Improve and sustain housekeeping, reporting all observations to help support the Health & Safety culture.
- Daily & Weekly FLT checks and defect reporting in line with legislation
- Ensure all vehicles are loaded with the correct equipment within the required deadlines.
- Monitoring of all products ensuring the quality standards are at the required high standard.
- Control of returned products ensuring all items are marshalled in the correct area within the yard.
- Support the Depot Supervisor with day today hire and depot operations as required.
- Ensure all orders processed through this location are completed & loaded on time and in full.
- Liaise between operations, transport, workshop & washbay teams to ensure accuracy and order completion.
- Provide information on stock availability and stock movement within the yard area.
- Support the depot management team to work in line with our company values.
- Challenge poor behaviour in the right way and provide regular feedback to the team.
- Maintain a positive work environment by behaving and communicating in a professional manner.
- Relevant operator certification e.g., CPCS Plant Operator / FLT Licence etc (8 ton +).
- Full UK Driving Licence.

**Shift Pattern**:

- **Monday to Friday**:

- 07.45 - 16.30.

**Payrate**:

- £11.50 per hour
