Seamstress / Seamster Garment Repairs

The Image Scotland Group is a diverse set of businesses based in Musselburgh, East Lothian.

We are expanding, and currently we are recruiting for an experienced Seamstress / Seamster within our outdoor equipment repair business. We repair all forms of fabric based outdoor clothing and equipment, every job is slightly different, we can promise a lot of variety

We expect you to be flexible in working with different types of clothing and products, you should also be creative with your solutions to carrying out repairs. While no specific production handling experience is necessary, sewing and fabric handling skills are essential and proficiency with an industrial sewing machine is also essential.

This position permanent and full-time, although we may consider part-time. It is based in our office and production centre in Musselburgh. This is easily reached by car, by bus (Lothian service numbers 26, 30, 44, 46 and 48; East Coast Buses service numbers 106, 113 and 124) or train (Musselburgh and Newcraighall railway stations are nearby).

Some information points relating to the role
- Our normal working week is 37.5 hours around the core hours of 8.30am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.
- We offer 24 days paid annual leave and 4 days of customary holidays, December 25th and 26th, January 1st and 2nd.
- We offer a workplace pension scheme.
