Due to the ongoing expansion of our operations, we're on the lookout for an **Warehouse Operative (Furniture & Interiors **to join our team in **Plymouth.**

This role sits within our Interior Solutions team and isn't your normal warehouse or installer position. We are currently seeking a dedicated relief to play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and efficient warehousing and delivery and installation of goods.

Schedule**:Monday - Friday, 7am -4pm**

Requirements**: Full, Clean manual driving license.**

**Key Responsibilities**:
As a **Warehouse** (FDC) relief your responsibilities will include:

- Familiarization and installation of products and accessories.
- Managing and booking in deliveries
- Committed to an excellent customer experience driven by service and good communication
- Loading and unloading of vehicles
- Collation, locating and cross checking of orders
- Using lifting equipment or machines to move stock and build orders ready for loading. (A forklift license would be an advantage)
- Upholding high standards of health, safety, hygiene, and security in the working environment.
- Liaising with planners and using the Furniture schedule system in Account Manager
- Communicating with internal departments to ensure compliance, including transport, traffic and QHSE
- Printing documentation, delivery notes, fitters' drawings, and any other associated paperwork.

**Key Skills and Behaviors**:
The successful **Warehouse** (FDC) Relief should possess:

- Full, Clean manual driving license.
- Experience in a warehouse role
- Skills to assemble flat packed and other furniture and understand how to safely transport furniture items.
- A good standard of general education - this is very hands on as well as warehouse and administratively based.
- A professional and supportive attitude
- The ability to communicate well and to resolve problems quickly and efficiently
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to handle queries over the phone and face to face.
- Reliable, approachable, flexible, with a good sense of humour
- The capacity to work calmly and accurately under pressure.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with colleagues in various departments.
