FINTEC recruit is looking for a **Mechanical Supervisor** to lead a team responsible for the maintenance of equipment. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary starting at £38,000 and going up to £45,000, depending on your experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package. Prior supervisory experience within a mechanical, fabrication, or marine background experience is advantageous for this role.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Engineering work packages
- Planning and scheduling work packages for engineering projects
- Supervising a team of both Industrial and Non-Industrial Trades, responsible for planned and reactive maintenance, testing, and commissioning
- Executing projects in accordance with current processes and suggesting improvements to enhance productivity
- Reviewing the quality of the delivered output and overseeing sub contractor output

**Skills and Experience for the Mechanical supervisor Role**:

- Previous Mechanical Fitter supervisory experience, within the mechanical, fabrication, or marine engineering sectors
- Developing a team of Trades resources, engaging with senior stakeholders, and generating reports as needed
- Collaboration with Project Engineering teams to successful completion of projects
- Experience in executing maintenance procedures, developing risk assessments, creating method statements, COSHH assessments, and Safe Systems of Work,

**Qualifications for Mechanical Supervisor Role**:

- Recognized Mechanical or Marine Engineering Apprenticeship, qualified to SVQ Level 3 (or equivalent NVQ and C&G) or an HNC and higher in a Mechanical Engineering field, supported by industry experience
- An IOSH qualification would be advantageous but is not mandatory
- Supervisory experience of trades /mechanical fitters
