**Job Role: Maintenance Officer**

**Hours: Full Time: 37.5 hours per week**

**Pay Rate: £29,427 per annum**

**Location: The Kairos Centre, Roehampton, SW15 4JA**

**As a maintenance officer, you will**:

- Play a crucial role in delivering an efficient, high-quality and cost-effective repairs and maintenance service on a daily basis.
- Undertake minor plumbing, carpentry, decorating and electrical repairs or make areas safe where contractors are not required.
- Carry out routine checks, such as the weekly fire alarm test and, calling out service engineers as necessary.
- Be familiar with the fire precautions and all emergency procedures.
- Ensure grounds, rooms and public areas are clean, safe and tidy both inside and outside and that meeting rooms are set up to meet guest requirements
- Have a relevant qualification and a track record of delivering high quality maintenance.

**About you**

We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and passionate maintenance professional, who can demonstrate substantial health & safety knowledge. Flexibility is required as weekend and evening work is essential.

The Kairos Centre is a catholic spirituality and conference centre, available for day visits and overnight stays.

The centre is an urban oasis in south-west London situated within acres of landscaped gardens and overlooking the historic Richmond Park.

Our tranquil setting of peaceful, secluded gardens provides place to pray, space to think and time to meet.
