Teaching Assistant - 1:1 Support

Band 3 Point 4 - £21,189 pa pro rata

Date: September 2023

F.T.E: 20 hours (Fixed Term) Pro Rata, Term time only

The Academy Council are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to support a child on a 1:1 basis. Applicants should possess relevant teaching assistant qualifications or equivalent, a high level of basic skills and be able to work as part of a team.

Applicants should:

- be highly motivated, forward thinking and committed to high quality curriculum provision in a caring Christian ethos.
- have a high standard of spoken and written English.
- be able to demonstrate sensitivity whilst working with others and have good interpersonal skills.
- be willing to contribute to school life outside of the classroom.

We require a member of Support Staff who:

- is experienced working in the Primary classroom
- has a good knowledge of the curriculum
- works effectively as part of a class, key stage and whole school team
- can contribute to the wider school community
