This is an exciting opportunity for a self-driven and motivated individual, to take on this new highly rewarding role of Finance Operations Manager within an impressive, large pan-European travel group.
**Finance Operations Manager
- What will I be doing?**
- Line management responsibility for Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable team.
- Accountability for management of AP & AR ledgers
- Development of AP & AR processes with focus on efficiency and utilising technology to minimise manual tasks
- Involvement in establishing new working practices
- Lead relationship with outsourcing partner including identification of new processes to be outsourced
- Responsible for all physical and virtual card accounts for the business.
- Responsible for Internal Control processes and documentation within AP & AR area
- Timely provision of information for internal and external audit.
- Execution of payment runs
**Finance Operations Manager
- What experience do I need?**
- Experience of managing AP and AR functions essential
- Evidence of managing and developing teams through coaching essential
- Fundamental understanding of accounting principles and policies essential
- Solid level of Excel knowledge essential
- Experience of a customer-centric service business where customer and supplier relationships are key is a distinct advantage
- Knowledge of SAP a benefit
- Experience of working in a multi-currency environment a benefit
