This role is office based at Britannia Movers’ head office in Merstham, Redhill. The key elements to the position are communicating and organising moves for companies' employees/customers, whose removals and storage expenses are being covered by their employer or another organisation. Co-ordinating booking dates, operational plans and key services between the Corporate Account, the mover and the local Britannia branch. Plotting all details onto Britannia's in-house system; therefore computer literacy and a good understanding of a variety of platforms and systems is important, as well as accurate data input capabilities.

Key responsibilities:

- Co-ordinating corporate moves on a domestic and commercial basis.
- Receiving instructions from corporate account regards employee/customer.
- It is the move co-ordinator’s responsibility to make sure that all details relating to each individual move on their account are up to date and correct on Intermove and the hard copy file.
- It is the move co-ordinator’s responsibility to make sure that all details relating to their account - contact details, names and operational offices are up to date on Intermove.
- Allocating job to appropriate Member based on area or preference in the case of VIP move.
- Producing quotation in line with agreed tariff and SLA, as well as ensuring that the move schedule is accurate and achievable.
- Organising move with customer and Member and keeping Corporate account abreast of schedule and any changes to the timings and scope of the move.
- Offering insurance based on customer’s requirements and value of goods and ensuring that all certificates and documentation are received by the customer prior to move and placed on file.
- Arranging all relevant dates for the move and providing Move Schedule in advance of move.
- Arranging all additional services where required (parking, electrician, carpenter).
- Ensure all charges are updated on quote in view of exclusions or items that have arisen since survey and getting approval from client/customer prior to move.
- Ensure that inventory is produced on all domestic jobs where storage is required.
- Putting through courtesy call on final day of move to check all is going well with move.
- Invoice and ensure correct account, address, sage number, contract is applied as well as charges and accruals all correct.
- Once completed file in intermediate drawer prior to archiving and then arranging archiving in tandem with Corporate Manager.
- Supporting the Corporate Manager throughout audit processes to ensure Britannia Movers achieves all accreditations and certifications with no non-conformances.
- Providing sales leads to the Sales department.
- Supporting the Corporate Manager to ensure the department is performing well and efficiently.
- Occasionally working beyond designated working hours to cover peak work periods caused by seasonality of the business and high demand periods from individual Corporate accounts.
