Maxim Recruitment Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Legal Secretary to assist with support duties for a prestigious law firm based in Reading.
Our client is a forward-thinking, innovative, and friendly law firm. Their Employment law team is currently seeking an enthusiastic Legal Secretary to join them. The role involves providing secretarial and administrative support to the team.
**Duties**:
- Assist the Employment team in ensuring smooth progress of work and excellent client service.
- Handle general typing, document inputting, and correspondence as directed by lawyers.
- Utilize the firm's Case Management system to prepare relevant legal documents
- Ensure clear ledger and file organization, preparing documents for clients, and arranging for billing
- Assist with compliance-related matters, filing, archiving, and retrieval of client files.
- Manage appointments, new clients, and maintain lawyer diaries.
- Handle postage and other administrative tasks required for the team's work.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of firm and client documentation/information.
**Skills And Qualifications**:
- Proficiency in computer usage, including familiarity with using case management systems.
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills.
- Preferably, experience in a legal environment
The salary for this role is dependent on experience but will be £25,000 - £30,000 + fabulous beneifts and a hybrid working pattern.
