As a Governance Partner, you will be:
- Supporting the delivery of effective and efficient administration and governance advice service, ensuring compliance with governing documents, legal obligations, regulatory and statutory governance standards and other relevant corporate policies and procedures
- Supporting the Company Secretary to undertake duties relating to corporate governance, regulatory and statutory compliance
- Working consistently and collaboratively with Board members, Executives, Assistant Directors & Company Secretary, regularly engaging with other relevant internal and external stakeholders
- Promoting and upholding the principles of good governance and respect for the confidentiality of information
- The governance team lead on the management of meetings which include committees of the parent board and subsidiary companies
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A relevant qualification or equivalent experience in corporate governance or administration
- Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A high level of attention to detail and accuracy
This is a temporary full-time role working 37 hours per week for a period of approximately three months while recruitment is underway for a permanent position. The hourly rate is up to £17.89 depending on level of skills and experience plus holiday pay and you'll be based in Abergele.
