Our 12 week Summer Internships, based in Aberdeen, are a great opportunity to get a taste for working at TotalEnergies and get hands on experience within your field of interest. The programme’s design is multifaceted, ensuring that you receive the opportunities and support needed to develop on a personal and professional level. These include learning workshops, networking opportunities, training sessions and if operationally viable, a site visit.-

As a TotalEnergies Intern, you will be joining our Exploration & Production Branch to help play a part in our journey to net zero.

**THE POSITION**

The Northern North Sea (NNS) installations have seen continuous operational service for 30+ years and therefore face obsolescence and supportability issues in many areas. Identification, management and addressing of these issues falls within the remit of the asset Engineering & Reliability team.

The Electrical discipline within the team have a number of these issues to manage, the correct resolution of which will be an important part of the late life phase of the installations.

This is a great opportunity to work within a small team, in a late life asset, with the associated challenges that brings, under an experienced Mentor.

Some of the activities you will be involved in will include:

- Supporting one or more of the upgrade projects planned for 2023, such as protection relay replacement and upgrade of LV main switchgear.
- Responsibilities will include technical review & evaluation, liaising with vendors and assisting with scope management.
- This will enable you to broaden your knowledge and understanding of electrical distribution and protection in an industrial environment and be involved with multiple project phases.

- In their penultimate year of their undergraduate degree (graduating in 2024) Studying Electrical & Electronic Engineering
- Available to work in our Westhill office, situated just outside Aberdeen, during the summer months (June to end of August)
