**3t is currently looking to recruit a QA Tester on a permanent contract located in Newcastle, UK.**

**The Role**

You will aid the Quality team wherever possible, either through manual checks of systems or by working with various stakeholders in improving current systems or helping to write specs for newer Spring based systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Create elegant test scripts (manual as well as automated) for new product features based on requirements
- Create and execute test plans for releases
- Maintain and enhance automated test suites
- Identifying quality issues and writing reports
- Manually test products where possible to a high degree.
- Developing and maintaining technical skills necessary to the performance of the role
- Sharing new ideas to the teams
- Taking Part in Agile and Scrum methodologies

- Great experience in manually testing system, either on paper or in build.
- Experience using software testing tools.
- Good written and verbal communication skills including technical writing
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle in Agile environments
- Experience of at least one industry automation tool (e.g., Cypress, Postman, REST Assured, pa11y)
- Experience of REST API testing
- Experience of using Git based version control
- Experience of using JIRA
- Experience of Linux and command-based tools
- Experience of testing in CI/CD environments
- Keen learner who actively monitors new trends in testing

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
