Role Description:
As an AEB Employment Coach, you will play a vital role in delivering contract outcomes with a primary focus on employment. Working closely with the Contract Manager and key stakeholders, you will ensure appropriate activities are carried out to achieve sign-ups, course enrollments, and job outcome targets. Building strong relationships with Jobcentres, referral partners, clients, and customers, you will provide recruitment, employer engagement, outreach, and employment advice to your caseload while achieving relevant targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish rapport and build supportive relationships with Jobcentres, referral partners, clients, and customers.
- Efficiently complete customer sign-up paperwork and manage a caseload to ensure appropriate contractual activity is undertaken based on individual job readiness.
- Address customer's personal and contextual constraints related to employment, implementing action plans, providing advice, guidance, and challenge to enhance their employability.
- Deliver employment support, including job search guidance, CV writing, soft-skills development, and motivational sessions with a focus on hospitality, retail, and tourism.
- Generate leads for vacancies and establish employer relationships.
- Account management of client relationships and ensure delivery meets their specifications.
- Identify and recommend recruitment and training solutions tailored to customers and employers' specific needs.
- Source referral routes for customers and enroll them in the program through those routes.
- Provide advice, guidance, and support for customers during their initial weeks of employment, aiding their transition from welfare to employment.
- Develop relationships and networks with key stakeholders, including employers, jobcentre teams, local authorities, and training providers, to ensure seamless operation of processes.
- Maintain accurate paperwork and customer records in accordance with quality standards to document the customer journey effectively.
Skills & Qualifications:
Essential Requirements:
- Strong sales and employment background.
- Experience and confidence in delivering against targets and KPIs.
- Understanding of the local market and industry networks.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to complete sign-up paperwork accurately.
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience of successfully delivering against targets and KPIs in a challenging environment.
- Experience in providing Advice, Information, and Guidance.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Expert relationship-building and communication skills to achieve goals through others.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
**Salary**: Up to £30,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
