We are looking for a Production Associate to join our team and help us meet our production goals. Your role will be in the day-to-day processing of bottling, creating oils, and getting them ready for orders. Full training will be given in all areas. Completing production/despatch records/batch records. Organising orders, to meet demands, and ensure sufficient stock is available at all times for sales team, and also production team. Stock control of products, ingredients, bottles, jars, and caps. You will be expected to learn other areas of the business such as preparation of orders, and dispatch (to ensure that everyone knows what to do should someone be off).
**Responsibilities**:
- Lifting boxes when filled.
- Lifting orders.
- Filing the empty boxes, with glass bottles.
- Filling, capping, and labelling glass bottles with a range of oils.
- Accurately creating large batches of flavours/herbs.
- Stocking the storeroom with boxes, making up boxes & packaging for all products.
- Awareness of CCP points, Flow Chart. HACCP Plan, Allergens.
- Batch Record Sheet Explained & How to record information, and dates on bottles.
- Pack parcels, and pallets, ensuring accuracy of products and record information.
- As and when required you will be expected to prepare orders, for shops, online orders, and supermarkets
- Using strapping machine.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Perform basic machine operation and maintenance.
- Follow production schedules and instructions.
- Ensure quality control of products.
- Monitor production processes and make adjustments as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of production data.
- Communicate with other departments to ensure efficient production processes.
Essential Skills
- Ability to adhere to Health & Safety Standards.
- Level 2 Food Hygiene and Safety for Manufacturing will be essential and can be obtained after a successful interview.
- Ability to work to deadlines and own initiative.
- Manual Handling will be required (up to 20kg).
- A can-do attitude essential.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
