**Payroll/HR Coordinator**

**hybrid role - 4 days work from home one day in the office**

I am recruiting for a Sale based growing business to recruit an experienced Payroll/HR Coordinator for a newly created role.

You will work with the Finance Director to co-ordinate and consolidate all HR and Payroll activity within this growing group.

This is a broad people role, that will be responsible for taking the Group People Function into it’s next stage of growth as it continues to grow

The role will suit someone who wants to grow with the business and has a good understanding of basic HR and is capable of undertaking payroll duties. The split of the role will be approximately 65/35 Payroll/HR split.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Weekly and monthly payroll submissions for circa 120 people
- Consolidation of payroll’s (currently in house and external) to solely in house
- Control of payroll submissions and outputs ensuring 100% accuracy is obtained each time
- Question anomalies that may occur in any payroll/HR submissions and escalate accordingly
- Undertake all HR duties for starters, leavers and changes and reflect these in the payroll submissions.
- Undertake all contractual requirements for starters/leavers and changes.
- Review current organisational structure and work with the senior team to provide contractual arrangements as necessary
- Work with the senior to team to provide job descriptions for each role within the business.
- Work with the senior team on new acquisitions and the alignment of new staff into the group
- Work with the senior team on policies and procedures that relate to people.
- Support with necessary modelling, KPIs and analysis as requested.
- PAYE/Pension/Deduction calculations and submission
- Assist with ongoing review of internal processes and systems, and assist with implementing robust new controls and procedures as required

**Require skills and experience**:

- Previous experience of a similar role is required
- Experience of working as part of a close knit team
- Strong familiarity with MS Excel, including familiarity with pivot tables, lookups, etc.
- Experience with payroll systems and identifying and implementing improvements is desirable
- Experience and knowledge of basic HR - contracts, employment law etc
- Experience of managing change both within Payroll/HR and the wider business would be useful
- Previous experience of dealing with the integration of acquisitions is desirable
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills both verbally and written
- Flexible, enthusiastic and can do attitude
- Willing to challenge the status quo
- Ability to travel to other sites within the UK when needed.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
