We are looking to recruit an ambitious, hard working individual to start their career as a Tax and VAT Trainee within our Preston practice.

Champion’s wide range of clients means that our trainees benefit from working with an interesting mix of industries, types of business and size, gaining a wide range of experience across multiple disciplines.

You will have a strong academic background, a recent college leaver educated to A Level standard (or equivalent) and display a keen interest and aptitude for tax and vat. With Champion you will be supported to study the AAT or ATT (The Association of Accounting or Taxation Techniques) qualification.

Alongside your keen interest in tax, to succeed in this role you must also have the ability to communicate well at all levels, be computer literate and demonstrate good team working skills.

You will be part of a team working on bookkeeping, VAT registrations, Tax assignments and administration, you will be fully supported and developed in this role to make your career stimulating and rewarding.

Alongside study we offer a competitive salary and other benefits in a supportive environment where you will learn from other team members. You will be working 35 hours per week and will study for the AAT or ATT standards on an evening basis.
