**Bookkeeper | Hornchurch | Full Time | £30,000 depending on experience**

**Are you the right person for the job?**
- A UK driving license
- Office-based role, but must own a vehicle as on-call visits may be required
- A minimum of 3 years of practice experience is essential
- Up to date knowledge of all VAT procedures
- Knowledge of Xero accounting software is essential
- Qualified to AAT level or higher
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel essential) and Outlook
- Good knowledge of other accounting software packages preferred

**What will your role look like?**
- Working with Accountants to manage bookkeeping services for a portfolio of clients in an accurate and timely manner
- Preparing appropriate schedules and reports as requested by clients
- Ensuring all client work is completed within applicable lodgement and work schedule deadlines
- Completing and filing VAT returns.
- Ensuring client assignments are in line with all relevant accounting standards
- Recording client’s financial transactions
