Macular Team Leader

**Brief Description of the Role**:
For the role you will work within a multi-disciplinary team, and be responsible for a range of duties related to administration and patient pathways, including; audio transcription and word processing of clinical letters, opening and dealing with incoming/outgoing post, setting up and booking of clinics, listing theatres, rescheduling and other correspondence as required by the Medical Secretaries.
You should be literate and numerate, with excellent organisational, time management and IT skills and an ability to work without supervision. An appropriate speed and accuracy of typing is required for this role and this will be assessed at interview. Administration and audio typing experience is desirable but not essential. You will have a high standard of communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with staff at all levels. You will have enthusiasm, motivation and demonstrate pride in your work.
