Hotel Finance Support Assistant

Working at a busy 120 bedroom hotel in Walsall for 3 x 6 hour shifts per week - the job includes (but is not limited to) the follow tasks

Controlling Sales Ledger (AR)
- Ensuring accuracy of and sending out guest invoices on a daily basis
- Working to a monthly cash and aged debt target
- Completion of accurate weekly reports
- Cross reference of receipts and credits on Opera system
- Cash Allocation when required also ensuring remittances are received from customers on their ledger.
- Payment allocation from Bank Accounts to AR accounts as necessary
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve queries in a timely manner
- Issue copy invoices and statements or any other information as required by a customer to resolve payment
- Ensure up to date Sales Ledger bills manual filing system is in place

Controlling Purchase Ledger
- Ensure Hotel Purchase Order system is adhered to
- Matching Delivery notes to invoices and following company approval procedures in Paperless System in the stipulated time constraints
- Balancing Commissions including Invoiced Claims and Radisson and IHG Onyx Claims

Petty Cash
- Keep a Petty Cash record as dockets are balanced and provided by the Hotel Manager and submit the coded report to Head Office at the end of each month with the correct receipts.

Revenue Checks
- In conjunction with the Hotel Managers, check that hotel revenue is in line with previous days business and that all credit cards balance.
- Check that all Daily Reports have been submitted to the Hotel “Cloud” by the Night Teams and resolve immediately if not.

Month Stock Takes
- Ensure that the Monthly Food and Liquor Stock Takes are completed by the relevant departments and submitted to Head Office (complete these in their absence if necessary)

Monthly Reporting
- Ensure timely returns of Monthly Reports to Head Office as necessary eg: Brand Invoices, VAT reports and CSV Files

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 18 per week

**Salary**: £10,221.00-£10,222.00 per year
