We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as a Ramp Co-ordinator at one of the UK's second busiest airport Gatwick.

Join us as a Ramp Co-ordinator where you will be able to explore a world full of opportunities working here at the Airport. You will be meeting people from all over the world, where you will be part of the most vital part of these passengers' journeys, by making sure they get to their destination safely.

**What do you get from us**:
The Role includes leading and motivating the large teams of airside drivers for the Assisted Customer operation at Gatwick Airport. Promote and protect the Assisted Customer operation within the wider airport community, whilst ensuring corporate
and legislative compliance by the use of best practises and safe systems of work.
- **Pay**:£17.00 hourly rate.
- **Shift**: Full time permanent position with a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.

**The Role**

Exciting and rewarding, a typical day in the life as a Ramp Co-ordinator:

- Attend incidents involving the airside drivers and complete thorough investigations in a timely manner.
- Management of ramp team administration including conducting return to work interviews
- Ensure rosters and leave are maintained.
- Conduct regular audits of staff.
- Provide support to the airside drivers on tasks if requested.
- Ensure effective and fair allocation of vehicles.

- Leading and Managing teams.
- Incident reporting.
- Deliver excellent customer service.
- IT Skills
- Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure.
- Have an ability to deliver succinct and clear verbal and written reports where necessary.

Desirable:

- Airport/airline experience gained within an operational environment.
- Current blue Gatwick ID

Qualifications and Licenses:
Essential:

- Full Manual Driving Licence held for two years or more.
- Over 23 for insurance purposes

Desirable:

- HGV / PSV
- Airside Driving permit Gatwick.
- Experience of working at heights
