Liberte Healthcare are recruiting a Team Leader Residential Childcare Worker, supporting children and young people who experience social and emotional challenges and those at risk of CSE.

This is a permanent, full time role.

You MUST have a Level 3/4 in Children and Young People or Health and Social Care and have experience working as a Team Leader.

We have two homes based in Chester.

Responsibilities for the role:

- Contribute to responsibility for all staff, delegating effectively and

appropriately whilst you are on shift.
- Ensure your team adhere to and work within the policies and procedures

established in the organisation and the home. Escalate concerns if needed.
- Have overall responsibility of finances during your shift and ensure all monies

are accounted for.
- Actively participate in a handover to ensure effective have over of medication

and money is completed.
- Work within the code of confidentiality and ensure that records in the home

are stored a
- Promote and actively encourage the professional development of staff.

Support where appropriate and share knowledge.
- Directly deliver supervision to identified members of staff, in relation to

Supervision and Personal Development Plans (PDP).
- Support Reg 44 Visits
- Have knowledge and
- Attend compulsory Team Meetings to share information and home updates.
- Being aware of the aims and objectives of the home and working

collaboratively with colleagues to achieve them.
- Receiving and storing information to improve communication.
- Provide informal practical and emotional support to colleagues experiencing

difficulties.
- Attending and contributing to regular supervision sessions in line with the

National Minimum Standards.
- Monitoring the conduct of colleagues and referring to any causes for concern

(Whistle blowing).
- Being familiar with all policies and procedures and adhering to them

Requirements for role:

- Must have an Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to complete a DBS check.
- Must be willing to complete our training or hold relevant, in date care certificates.
- Hold NVQ Level 3 qualification.
- Have Children's residential home experience.
- Hold a valid UK Driving licence

**Salary**: £12.00 per hour
