**Procurement Analyst**required to join a luxury automotive brand based out of **Daventry** with key liaison to the US, on a **permanent** basis, offering a competitive market salary in the region of £40,000 per annum + Benefits.

Our client is an automotive luxury brand, with a global reputation for bespoke restorations. Working with some of the most iconic designs, using modern engineering, this company is one of a kind and their diligence is second to none.

Reporting to the NPI Manager, the **Procurement Analyst** will be responsible for planning, monitoring and achieving new product development goals. Supporting new product development through purchasing activities, cost modelling and projectmanagement, we are interested in speaking to a **Procurement Analyst** with experience in an Automotive or Aerospace manufacturing industries with strong knowledge of purchasing strategies, ERP systems and MRP systems.

In return for your skills and experience you will join an inclusive team at their office in Daventry with travel to Coventry when required and key remote liaison with the Team in the US. The ideal **Procurement Analyst** will benefit from a salary in the region of £40,000 per annum plus a range of benefits.

**Responsibilities of the Procurement Analyst**:

- Develop and execute supply chain project plans for assigned new product development projects.
- Solve complex problems and identifies innovative solutions related to supplier issues and purchased components.
- Manage supplier relationships and performance to achieve program milestones and customer requirements.
- Assess supplier related risk and proactively manages risk and escalates when necessary.
- Work closely with sourcing/procurement, and NPD project teams to ensure alignment and execution of sourcing activities that support sustainable results.
- Support issuing RFI, RFP, RFQ, PO placement and other purchasing activities as needed.
- Ensures compliance to company procurement rules and regulations.
- Purchase goods and services.
- Evaluate price, reliability, quality, technical support and availability of goods and services to ensure lowest total cost of ownership.
- Negotiates pricing with vendors to reduce total material cost.
- Work in a cross-functional team environment as a strong team player and demonstrates ability to work with other functional groups to achieve company-wide goals.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

**The ideal Procurement Analyst**:

- Three plus (3+) years of related experience in new product development or as Buyer, Commodity Specialist or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or other relevant fields
- Proficient in MS Office, ERP systems, and math
- Knowledge of procurement strategies
- Strong negotiating skills
- Proficiency with MRP systems (e.g., Oracle, Fishbowl)
- Experience in automotive or aerospace manufacturing
- Prior experience in rapid growth environment
