Our client, a leader in the logistics industry, is recruiting an experienced Road Planner for its facility in the Coatbridge area

Job Title - Road Planner

**Duties**:

- To produce plan and control the road schedule on a rolling daily basis
- To ensure that customer requirements are met in accordance with the Company and Statutory Regulations
- To ensure service levels are maintained safely and cost effectively
- Identify any new business opportunities in order to maintain and improve route profitability
- Liaise and communicate with customers and the Planning Manager & Contract Managers to ensure maximum utilisation of fleet
- Supervise the road motor drivers and sub-contractors to ensure work is completed safely and to set standards

**Skills/Certificates/Experience**:

- Road Operations Legislation
- IT systems Tops Road/Eric/Excel/Word
- ADR Regulations
- Transport Planning/Customer Services requirements

**Salary - **£28,619 per annum

**Hours**:

- Mon
- Friday 05.00 - 18.00 rotating shifts, weekend working available. Basic 35 hours with overtime as required.
