We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. If you approach everything with a positive can-do attitude, are solutions driven, efficient and meticulously organised we want to hear from you

Responsibilities will include:

- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Process and reconcile monthly bank statements and credit card transactions.
- Prepare and process monthly payroll
- Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct regular audits of financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with established accounting standards and policies.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and support decision-making processes.
- Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and accounting standards to ensure compliance.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Education and Certification:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Professional certification (e.g., Certified Bookkeeper) is a plus.
